Breaking Even sounds like a very painful thing to experience that will induce feelings of sadness.
When in actual fact it's the opposite - It's more of a simple joy.
Personally it's that moment where I can stop thinking about finances and bills, and focus more on the highlights that money can't buy. The comradeship of performers, giving an audience a good time, or making it through a set without tripping up embarrassingly.
Let's face it, we're not in it for the money. We're never going to be able to afford quality hookers and booze with the profits of the show. But it's good to know that I no longer have to convince Aaron to sell a kidney. Thats' one to do list item that has solved itself nicely.
